"Fight Gone Bad!"

Three rounds of:
Wall-ball, 20 pound ball, 10 ft target (Reps)
Sumo deadlift high-pull, 75 pounds (Reps)
Box Jump, 20" box (Reps)
Push-press, 75 pounds (Reps)
Row (Calories)

In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. On call of "rotate", the athletes must move to next station immediately for best score. One point is given for each rep, except on the rower where each calorie is one point.

I don't have a rower or a jumpable box, so I did this instead:

DB Thrusters, 2 x 10 kg (17-15-15 reps)
SDLHP, 37,5 kg (10-10-10 reps)
Rope Jumps (40-40-40 reps)
Push Press, 37,5 kg (9-10-8 reps)
SDLHP, 37,5 kg
(10-10-11 reps)

I guess that Jump Ropes translate about 2:1 to Box Jumps, so this would give me a point total of 195. Not too bad.

My timer broke during the last minute, though. I've had trouble with my
workout timer recently; it got hung up with several different browsers. Pity that I don't have a suitable widget.

  1. IMO - the rope jump sub is not equivalent. 20 inch boxjumps are brutal. Do you have stairs? Jump to stair 3 - make SURE you stand all the way up - hip open - when you land on the platform (the stair the box whatever)
